Hi City Council,
My name is Paul Kreiner and I am a 10 year resident of Menlo Park writing
to express my support for the proposed affordable housing in downtown Menlo
Park. I would like to see a lot more housing in Menlo Park to enable the
many wonderful and vital members of our community to actually live here in
our community. Replacing street level parking lots with affordable
apartment buildings and multi-level garage parking is a great way to do
this. The disruptions to downtown life that the construction causes will be
temporary and soon forgotten. The opportunity for hundreds of people to
live downtown who otherwise couldnt will have a lifetime impact on these
residents as well as their friends, neighbors, and the rest of their
community.
