Dear Menlo Park City Council Members,
We are writing to express our support for affordable homes in the
city-owned downtown parking lots. We respectfully encourage you to move
forward with the Request for Proposals for this project—albeit with
requirements that are actually feasible for the city and developers.
This is a great opportunity to transform the downtown parking lots, which
frankly are in poor condition. It would be a shame not to take this chance
to bring more people—and therefore more life—to our downtown.
