Dear City Council Members,
Please do not destroy our downtown business community.
Our downtown businesses and merchants provide a local and very convenient
array of services to the citizenry of Menlo Park and surrounding Cities.
What is your objection to considering other more attractive sites for
housing as outlined in the Save Downtown Petition recently sent to you?
Why not consider any of the five alternative sites outlined in the latest
Save Downtown proposal?
Presidio Bay is currently seeking input to decide what kind of community
theyre going to be building on that 17 acre site at 345 Middlefield Road.

Why doesnt the City have a comprehensive plan that considers all the sites
currently being proposed for housing/business development?
Those sites should be part of this discussion.
It appears that this Council keeps its own counsel and does not feel
obliged to explain itself to anyone.
