Palo Alto's statement re role of Emergency Service Volunteers: "The City needs information from the neighborhoods to know the big picture and focus on getting resources to where the need is greatest.” It is strange that neither Menlo Park or East Palo Alto perceive such a need. If they don’t know what is happening in the neighborhoods how will they allocate resources - or perhaps they don’t intend to get resources to those in need.
