Hello,
I understand Menlo Park would like to build housing on the open space next to our Sharon Park duck pond. This open space is used daily by children, people walking, tech workers having lunch or meetings and dog walkers. There are a lot of people living in apts and condos on this street and we need this open space for excercise.
A better placement for new homes may be down
The street at the Safeway Sharon Park shopping center or how about Facebook. Global warming is increasing with all the new building and people therefore cars and pollution. Please leave our one small open space open !
Included below are pictures of kids I see everyday on my walk in the park, looking for lizards under branches and climbing trees. Please let them play in
the whole park as was intended.
