The Local Government Commission (LGC) invites you to attend an exclusive virtual session for California policymakers and elected officials, Policymakers Session: Rebounding Resiliently on Thursday, September 30th from 1:00 - 2:30 P.M.
This event will include three presentations. Angela Hacker, Best Practices Coordinator of the California Climate & Energy Collaborative will present on California Local Successes and Groundbreakers. For the second presentation Alana Mathews, Director of Policy Resources and Training of the Prosecutors Alliance of California will present on Breaking Down Silos and Building Up Collaborations for Equitable Resiliency. Finally, Erik de Kok, Deputy Director for Planning & Community Development of the Governor's Office of Planning and Research will present on What’s Next for State Tools & Resources for Local Action.
Breakout sessions will focus on the topics of Energy Equity, State Tools, and Best Practices. These sessions will provide an opportunity for attendees to share their expertise, engage in deeper discussion with expert speakers, and build connections with other local policymakers from across the state.
