To City Council, I like the idea of closing Santa Cruz avenue, but leaving the cross streets open. The closed street would allow more room for social distancing, and possibly, some restaurants could open earlier than planned with outdoor eating only (vs. indoor) if the tables were spread further apart than the currently allotted spaces.
