Dear Menlo Park City Council, I'm writing in with my support for Menlo Park Gymnastics. This gymnastics program has played an important role in my life for the past 32 years! As a young child through teen, I loved my gymnastics classes and then competing as part of the gymnastics team. I worked with many of the coaches who are still part of the amazing program! Then, in high school at Menlo-Atherton, my first (and one of my best!) jobs was coaching gymnastics on evenings and weekends to children of all ages. Through the program, I also taught gymnastics at Belle Haven's summer camp. About 1.5 years ago, my now three-year old son started taking gymnastics classes and our whole family loves our Saturday mornings with him at class. The new (to us) gym is beautiful too!
