I write as a MP resident and dedicated climate change advocate. I know that times are tough and we need to make significant budget cuts but I am urging you not to cut the climate budget. Please do not remove $400,000 that has been allotted to EV chargers. Even if the money is available from other sources, like Peninsula Clean Energy, MP can use the extra $400,000 for other climate important. It is critical that MP remain a climate role model - even during these dark times. Other cities across the country and even world follow our lead.
