Hello Menlo Park City Council, Thank you for all your work in incurring the community is healthy and observing shelter in place orders. As the County opens in a responsible way and in stages I know residents are looking forward to supporting local businesses and services. I would like to encourage you to re-open Burgess Park pool for recreational use. Its such an important community asset and a very well run aquatic center that meets the needs of youth, adult swimmers, older athletes and families. Please work towards opening the pool and Burgess Park facilities. Many other cities are working out ways to operate facilities safely and maintain public health goals and I'm sure the City of Menlo Park can do that too.
