Dear City Council, As you consider when and how to open city facilities, I strongly voice support to safely open Burgess Pool for the summer. Assuming social distancing protocols are followed, returning to a small slice of normalcy by being able to get some outdoor exercising would do a world of good for people’s mental health. If you are concerned about the locker rooms, I would still be in favor of opening the pool and keeping the locker rooms closed.
