Dear City Council, As you are aware, there was considerable violence and looting in the past 24 hours in suburban communities around the Bay area, including Danville and Walnut Creek. According to newspaper accounts, the looters were not local people but organized groups who took advantage of peaceful demonstrations to carry out their criminal activities.
