Dear Council Members, Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do to keep our city safe during the pandemic. I am proud to be a Menlo Park resident and see our community come together to combat the spread of the virus. As businesses gradually re-open, I hope that you will consider re-opening the Burgess Pool. The benefits of swimming are vital to our physical and mental health. One of the best ways to fight this virus is to remain fit and healthy as a community. I am certain that we will follow and respect all the mandated protocols (social distancing, one swimmer per lane etc.) for a safely functioning pool.
