To whom it may concern, Please strongly consider reopening Burgess and Belle Haven pools under the plan submitted by Tim Sheeper. I live with a swimmer who has had to adopt a new sport. It has not been fun living with someone so dedicated to swimming and coping with not being able to swim. I cannot imagine what parents are enduring with their children who cannot swim. Maybe clients can sign a waiver that they will not sue the city if they are exposed to the corona virus at Burgess. We have to learn to live with the virus and be as safe as possible. While I do not envy your difficult decision, it breaks my heart to see playgrounds and pools empty of young children. The children who live near Belle Haven are less likely to know of a family who has a backyard pool. Please consider reopening the pools.
