I want to express my hopes for Menlo Park. I teach at Hillview Middle School and my kids went to Menlo Atherton. There is something wrong with the aw enforcement system in Menlo Park. My students as well as my children say they are fearful of Menlo Park Police- and most of them are white. I can only imagine how a brown or black skinned person must feel when confronted by the Menlo Park Police. What is wrong with this system? Many may say that is not the case in Menlo Park, but I beg to differ. I urge you all to make the necessary change that must be done that allows children to not fear the police.
