Dear city council members,
My name is Shontelle Watkins, and as a Belle Haven resident, I am writing
to oppose the current aquatics proposal.I did not approve of the discussion
on the hybrid model during the workshop. The plan was so confusing that the
time spent trying to understand it felt like a waste. Their approach
suggested the plan was already finalized, and the constant need for
clarification was frustrating .Most importantly, the plan ignores the needs
of residents. We want access to resources, not increased pool fees. Its
already expensive to live here; why must I pay more for a neighborhood pool
in my own community?I see no value in this plan and strongly urge you to
reject this proposal.
