Re: Parkline SRI Project
Dear Mayor Combs, Vice Mayor Nash, and members of City Council,
I am writing you as a Menlo Park resident in support of the Parkline project at SRI. I encourage you to approve the project and keep it moving forward. As I see it, it offers many benefits for Menlo Park, including:
1. Several hundred new homes, including affordable housing needed for Menlo Park to comply with its Housing Element and avoid future Builders remedy projects.
2. More public recreation space for activities
3. A massive increase in property tax revenue from the site which benefits the community and local public schools (my two boys go to Encinal Elementary)
As a Menlo Park resident, all of this will be extremely impactful towards making our community a much better place.
