Honorable Mayor Taylor and City Council Members, I understand that Menlo Park is poised to support a proposed action plan that will get the city to net zero carbon emissions by 2030! That is WONDERFUL, AMAZING, and totally necessary if we're really going to be able to slow climate change to a manageable phenomenon. Please accept my profound thanks and earnest desire that cities throughout the Bay Area, California, and the entire country look to Menlo Park as the leader every entity needs to emulate. I will certainly do my part in bringing your efforts toward this goal to the attention of the Council members of my own city.
