Dear Mayor Combs and Councilmembers,
Much appreciation to Councilmember Schmidt for bringing this agenda topic
before Council!
Im writing to support the city moving ahead with a resolution in support
of the Bay Area Air District zero NOx rules for water heaters and space
heating appliances.
It was an exciting and inspiring day in March 2023, filled with hundreds of
comments in support of these rules, and an almost unanimous vote by the
Directors in support of these rules that will do so much to promote better
health and more equitable access to clean air.
Im so grateful to see the City of Menlo Park taking steps to support our
communitys health.
