This ordinance would create unnecessary barriers and added costs that make building new homes, especially affordable homes, much more difficult. We need new families and diversity in Menlo Park by having people be able to afford housing. This wont happen if the housing market stays so restricted and minimal. We are suffering from the rich of Silicon Valley turning our community into an elitist one that none of our children want to join, or even could if they cared to.
