Our climate crisis is beyond urgent, beyond catastrophic. Each city around the globe needs to work to reduce its emissions; educate citizens to change their perceptions, attitudes and behaviors; and act NOW. I'm a Menlo Park climate warrior urging the Council to staff up to implement the CAP that was so beautifully stated and is of no use until it's given teeth by passing the plans into law.
Please hire a City Manager who is pro climate-change mitigation and who will organize staff to help solve this crisis. Please. Act. Now.
