Hello Council,
I would like the following item to be considered in the priority for city budget.
** Pilot Mobile BH Farmers’ Market with Market Match program **
This was discussed in the Environmental Quality Commission and is from the Food Systems Ad Hoc Subcommittee presentation (the presentation starts on page 84 link here: https://www.menlopark.gov/files/sharedassets/public/v/1/agendas-and-minutes/environmental-quality-commission/2026-meetings/agenda/20260226-environmental-quality-commission-special-meeting-agenda.pdf)
I would like all 10 items to be added to the priority meeting as well.
I think the best order for the priorities would be :
1.Climate action – mitigation, adaptation, and resilience
2.** Pilot Mobile Belle Haven Farmers’ Market with Market Match program **
3.Public health by increasing the amount of pharmacies and clinics in needed areas AND Promote access to high quality and affordable food
4.Housing and Public Safety ( terminate use of Flock cameras, and prohibit ICE joint actions with police)
5.Emergency and disaster preparedness
6.Safe Routes Biking and pedestrian( e.g. Dumbarton rail bus line (SamTrans) project and safer bay)
