Dear City Council Members,
I'm thrilled and proud that you'll discuss this Tuesday working with BlocPower to develop an electrification program for Menlo Park! This is exactly what we need to help us reach our decarbonization goals and continue to lead as a city determined to protect all life on Earth.
I can't stop grinning when I continue to read and hear about what BlocPower helped Ithaca, NY, do for residents. It was brilliant! We need that kind of program here to help everyone interested to decarbonize. The Peninsula also will benefit from the jobs created when people are trained to install electric appliances and systems.
This kind of program is a WIN for homeowners, job seekers, the area economy and all living things. Please work with BlocPower to develop a program for Menlo Park ASAP.
