Hi after reviewing the Agenda Packet Planning Comm from April 13th I am surprised to see that you did not question the appraised value of the Coast Live Oak #1952
The Bartlett Tree Report exhibit D page A-63 on attachment A indicates that the value of a large Oak tree is only $5400.00!
The basic tree cost is calculated incorrectly – I would definitely bring this to the city arborist for the appropriate calculation! The city is missing out on $15,000 – in light on the fee increases certainly things like this should not be overlooked – it’s a mathematical computation that an approved arborist ought to know. Pretty sure I am not making an error here. See calculation below (I forgot to add the $250 so my math below should be $26,850)…I am not a math major but I ve seen tree inventory reports and just from that alone I cant believe that this valuation of the Live Oak didn’t raise any questions.
