Support for more flexible downtown zoning

Dear Planning Commissioners,

Businesses offering services in physical spaces now outnumber businesses selling good in physical spaces in the United States. Menlo Park needs to update its zoning to reflect this reality. I support the proposed downtown zoning changes along Santa Cruz Ave.

The current zoning is too restrictive and contributes to vacancies. Allowing a broader range of businesses and more flexible use of downtown spaces would help revitalize downtown Menlo Park.
