Hello Council,
I ask the City Attorney, and all members of the Council, to publicly state their support or not of the Menlo Balance initiative. At least four of the Council members are being presented as in favor of it, along with the City Attorney. Clarify on your positions is needed. If false information is being spread to get people to sign the MenloBalance petitions, I hope that appropriate action will be taken.

* Nancy Wager emailed you May 22, 2022 to report that two Suburban Park residents told her that the "City Attorney" supports the measure and drafted the petition." This was while Wagner was at the Farmers Market. Wagner took a screenshot of the petition and sent it to you. The statement was made to try to convince Wagner to sign the petition.
* One of my MP friends was at the same Farmers' Market (on another day) where she saw MenloBalance petition signature collectors. She heard one say that one the male Council members was in support. (The actual person was named. I only state the ▒▒▒ here given that my next bullet items names all three females.)
* Yet another MP friend was out walking with a friend when she encountered two petition collectors for Menlo Balance. My friend and her friend were asked to sign the petition and also told that all three female Council members were in favor of MenloBalance.
