Dear Members of the City Council,
As a parent, I am writing to ask for your support in preserving indoor
recreation programs, especially the long-standing programs that have become
true community gems.
I am reaching out because I have not felt that the concerns of families
have been fully heard through the Recreation Department, and I believe
these programs are too important to lose without community voice.
The consistency and stability of these programs are what make them so
valuable. Families rely on them year after year, children grow through
levels with the same instructors and peers, and they build friendships and
confidence that often last for years. These long-term programs are not just
classes, they are part of the fabric of our community.
I respectfully ask you to continue supporting and preserving these indoor
recreation programs so that these community gems remain available for
current and future families.
