Feasibility problem

You do NOT need the 345 apartments on our parking lots for multiple reasons, including this reason:
According to the U.S. Census Bureau and recent demographic estimates, the population change in Menlo Park over the last 10 years has been relatively flat to a slight decrease:
Population 10 Years Ago (2016): Approximately 34,642 residents.
Current Population (2025/2026 estimates): Approximately 32,472 to 32,713 residents.
This represents a decrease of roughly 1,900 to 2,200 people (or about a 5% to 6% decline) over the past decade,
Abandon the plans to build apartments on our downtown parking lots.
