Nomination Period Extended
Interested in serving your community as a City Council Member? Three City
Council seats are up for election on November 3, 2026.
The deadline for non-incumbent candidates has been extended for five days,
because an incumbent did not file for reelection by August 7, pursuant to
Election Code Section 10225.
Interested candidates now have until August 12 at 5:00 p.m. to file
nomination papers with the City Clerk.
Nomination papers are issued and submitted by appointment only. Click the
