District 3 Under Sieged with over Development

Dear Board of Supervisors,
I am a resident of the Burgess Classics neighborhood in Linfield Oaks.  Once again our outcry that District 3 has been the epicenter of Menlo Park development, and somehow savior of the RNHA, has reached epic proportions.  USGS, Parkline and Sunset have made this corner of Menlo Park a potential traffic nighmare.
How on earth can we miss the Housing Element deadline.  There has to be ways around the N17 developers incomplete application.
It has fallen on deaf ears, that we allow the N17 to impose such a behemoth project, violating many elements of housing.
While I am a staunch supporter of housing, the following issues deeply concern me and my neighbors.  Director Schmidt has not been supportive of our interests in District 3.
1) These developments are becoming incompatible with the neighborhood characteristics2) The office components create a 4:1 jobs-to-housing imbalance, further aggravating the housing situation.3)  The other neighborhoods outside of District 3 will be severely impacted by a bottleneck through Willow and Marsh road.

The BOard of Supervisors have to understand that while appeasing some supporters of housing, we are making the problem worst ny adding more traffic congestion.
Please stop this madness.
Peter
