Dear City Council
I live on Woodland Avenue in Menlo Park and am married to Bob Hubbell.
We oppose the development of 80 Willow Road Towers.
They are inappropriate, in many ways, for our suburban neighborhood and the entire San Francisco Peninsula. Please stop the development.

Hi Folks,
Tomorrow is the Menlo Park City Council meeting where they will discuss the 80 Willow Road project. Please attend even if’s just to show up to show the number of people who OPPOSE the development. I’m going. I will Not be speaking. Information below Dana
Dear Peter,
As you may know, the Menlo Park City Council is under tremendous pressure relating to the 80 Willow Road development. The California Attorney General’s office has admonished the City for how it has processed the developer’s application so far, and the developer is threatening to sue unless the application is approved by October 27.
This is a critical time, and the City Council needs to hear from everyone who’s concerned about this massive housing-negative development. Here’s what we’re asking you to do. Today: Forward this to a neighbor
We need to get the word out. A personal appeal from you would go a long way. Before Tuesday: Write to the City Council
All you need to share is a few sentences in your own words about your top concerns. Make sure to include your street/neighborhood. Here’s who to write:
* General email: city.council@menlopark.gov (mailto:city.council@menlopark.gov)
* Betsy Nash, Mayor ( bnash@menlopark.gov) (mailto:bnash@menlopark.gov)
* Jennifer Wise, Vice Mayor ( jnwise@menlopark.gov) (mailto:jnwise@menlopark.gov)
* Drew Combs, Councilmember ( dcombs@menlopark.gov) (mailto:dcombs@menlopark.gov)
* Jeff Schmidt, Councilmember ( jdschmidt@menlopark.gov) (mailto:jdschmidt@menlopark.gov)
* Cecilia Taylor, Councilmember ( cttaylor@menlopark.gov) (mailto:cttaylor@menlopark.gov) On Tuesday evening: Join us in person or on Zoom
The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. at Council Chambers, 751 Laurel Street or join via (ID# 832 1285 7140) if you cant make it in person. We anticipate that public comment will be at 5:30 sharp. You dont have to speak to make a difference. If you don’t want to take the mic, just being there helps: Bring a sign and help us pack the chambers. A packed room sends its own message to the Council.
Please reply to this email and let us know if you plan to attend, and whether youll speak.
Thank you for your support.
