Dear City Council Members,
I find it incredible that the city is even considering the N17 proposal for development of 80 Willow Rd, which would entail serious problems for our neighborhood.
An environmental impact report should be required, to independently evaluate issues such as traffic, parking, and emergency access.
Traffic on Willow Rd. and Middlefield Rd. is already in gridlock at the busiest times of day.
The proposed massive towers are out of scale for the community.
Insufficient “affordable” housing is provided.
I urge you NOT to succumb to bullying by the State of California, or threats and pressures from the N17 developer.
I support responsible development that aligns with Menlo Park’s approved housing development plan.
