Hello Mayor Nash, Vice Mayor Wise, and City Councilmembers,
I support the citys plans to create deeply affordable housing on downtown
parking lots. What a great opportunity to create housing near transit and
places where people can work, shop, and dine, and I appreciate and
encourage the citys efforts to find solutions to meet the needs of
residents and businesses while achieving the citys housing needs.
Thank you for holding the study session this evening to review the
financial review of the 3 proposals and next steps for moving forward.
I also support the letter submitted by Housing Leadership Council and Menlo
Together, and appreciate the perspectives provided by previous commenters
Eduardo Lopez and Julie Hartstein.
Thank you.
