Dear Council Members,
I am writing to express my support for the Willow Village project. I urge you to approve Willow Village without delay.
I have lived in the Belle Haven neighborhood since 2011. We love this vibrant and diverse community, but in some ways we feel trapped. To get the variety of groceries we need, we have to drive at least 20 minutes to get to Safeway, Costco, or Trader Joes. When my kids are sick, there is nowhere nearby to run and grab cold medicine. We desperately need a grocery store and pharmacy nearby.
On top of that, we love to dine out and shop from local businesses . . . lets bring some of those businesses to this neighborhood!
My husband and I have three kids. We love to go on walks and bike rides. The plan for open space and a park would be so greatly appreciated and used by so many.
This is an active and awesome community and Id like to see more resources in this neighborhood. Please approve the Willow Village project so Belle Haven can continue to grow, develop, and thrive! I love living here and cant wait to see what the future of this neighborhood brings!
