Hello Menlo Park City Council,
I see there has been extensive discussion about the high 110 decibel noise created by the Cal Train that runs through Menlo Park. I’d like to follow up on the status of the quiet zone and express our concerns from Atherton where we can hear the horns late into the night.
If there is any way we can assist to expedite action from the council to preserve the peace and quiet please let us know. I had spoken with Cal Train last year which was, of course, a dead-end. I see many emails with similar requests to mine online but could not locate the project status. Please advise where Menlo Park stands with initiating the quiet zone measures.
