Dear City Council,
Hi! My name is Linh Nguyen and I am an 8th grader at Hillview Middle School. I recently contacted the city council Regarding my plan to start a soccer camp for young kids in Menlo Park and the surrounding areas. I really believe that the sport teaches many valuable lessons, including teamwork, perseverance and dedication.
However, soccer is not accessible to everyone, and not all kids have the chance to try it. I am trying to organize a free summer camp next year, in the summer of 2023. I am especially interested in introducing soccer to children who cannot otherwise have a chance to try soccer.
I have made plans for the camp, detailing the information such as format, safety, time and location for the parents and campers. The camp will run from July 17-21 from 9-10:30 AM. I have attached it to this email. In addition to myself, I have recruited players from my team and school who will provide a diverse experience for the campers. I have a newsletter that will be sent to schools in the surrounding areas, including Willow Oaks, Belle Haven, Castaño, and Fairfield Elementary School.
The last detail is finding the field where I can host my camp. I am hoping that you can help me secure a spot at Hillview Middle School. Thank you for your support and hopefully I will hear back from you soon.

Is it possible for me to host the summer camp on the Hillview field from July 17 to July 21? I would like to have it from 8:30 - 10 plus 15 minutes before and after to set up/clean up. My plan is attached below. Please let me know if the link works and if you decide to let me use the field!
