Dear City Council Members,
I am honored to give you my strongest endorsement for Sally Cole for
the District 5 Councilmember position. I have known Sally for the last
several years as part of a neighborhood running group. She undoubtedly
has the drive, skills, and character to serve with great effectiveness
on Menlo Parks City Council.
Her tireless service on the Heritage Tree task force and Complete
Streets Commission demonstrated to me that she is not only extremely
organized and thoughtful, but she is also a highly collaborative team
player who is an outstanding communicator. She is so engaged and
interested in the issues that affect Menlo Park residents that she
inspires those around her to be more engaged and involved. She is
committed to understanding and listening to the concerns and
perspectives of all stakeholders. She holds city government in the
highest regard and will respect the office.
I believe that she will pour her heart, soul, and know-how into this
important role. I trust that she will represent the interests of Menlo
Park residents in District 5 and will advocate for improved quality of
life and environmental sustainability for all residents.
