Esteemed Council Members,
Id like to encourage you to continue the contract held by Menlo Swim and Sport, LLC and Tim Sheeper.
We couldnt hope for a more welcoming, inclusive, professional, safe, and fun place than Burgess under Tims leadership (and Belle Haven until it was closed for renovation).
Just coming back from an open swim session, its hard to describe the energy level at the pool thanks to the positive and can-do attitude Tims staff demonstrates on a daily basis; no matter if early in the morning, during the weekday/weekend or the evening hours. Whenever you stop by the pool, you can find people from all walks of life, all ages, all fitness and skill levels engaging in any of the diverse programs.
I personally joined during covid and have made this uniquely enriching community the center of my social life.
What a gift to Menlo Park.
