Hi City Council,
I cannot make the meeting tonight on 2/14 but wanted to send a quick note. We live right off of Middle on Claire Pl. and would highly support a dedicated bike lane for cyclists. I have a second grader and a 3 year old and would love to bike to Oak Knoll, but haven’t just yet.
I know there are going to be a lot of sides to this issue and can also understand the need for parking. I wonder if there is a middle ground (ha! Pun intended) where we could have certain times of the day blocked off for kids biking to elementary and middle school? I think that might be nice- as honestly during the middle of the day etc there is definitely less bike traffic.
