Dear City Council:
My major swimming pool concern is not with the current provider, who is a major asset to the City, but with the design of the new Ravenswood pool. To my understanding, it was sized for the existing population of potential users without regard for the flood of additional population resulting from redevelopment of the Willow road area east of 101, which you approved without any thought of the resulting need for recreational facilities.. If the pool structure is not already in concrete, I urge the Council, whatever the resulting extra cost, to correct your error and direct the City Manager to arrange for changes necessary to accommodate the now-projected user population.
