Jahyun Jennifer Koos death on tracks 2015

Council,

22 years ago Council Member Steve Schmidt landed a grant for a study of the grade separations in the City.

Here we are again.

Keep Ms Koos death in mind tonight as you debate the benefits of one design of a grade separation over another. You should be looking at a way to safely move cars and protect motorists and pedestrians. End of story. The visuals and past declarations by former Council Members about the attractiveness of an elevated system are of little importance.

22 years is long enough. The cost of this project has probably doubled while one council after another has refused to make a decision.
