Palo Alto Post 4/6/23 p. 11 notes that the City of East Palo Alto has objected to Stanfords plan to drill holes in the bottom of the dam on the grounds that it will exacerbate the flooding problems. I objected on the same grounds with respect to the downstream area, specifically Stanford Weekend Acres.
I hope that people in the San Mateo County, Menlo Park, Palo Alto and the County of Santa Clara have also lodged similar complaints. because this is an idiotic plan that will benefit no one but Stanford.
