Your sister city located in Galway, Ireland 🇮🇪 makes an ongoing effort to support the country of Ukraine. Can Menlo Park do its part by doing something similar?

Earlier today the Ambassador of Ukraine, Ms Larysa Gerasko along with the Ambassador of Poland, Ms Anna Sochańska and the Ambassador of Lithuania, Mr Marijus Gudynas paid a courtesy visit to City Hall to meet with the Mayor of the City of Galway Cllr Clodagh Higgins. The Ambassadors and the Mayor were joined by Director of Services for Galway City Council Brian Barrett and Community Culture and Social Inclusion Officer TJ Hughes. The common bonds between the people of Ukraine and the people of Ireland were discussed as well as opportunities for implementing practical changes to improve the lives of those Ukrainians already living in Galway.
The Ambassadors were in Galway to participate in a Round Table Discussion at the University of Galway about Ukraines Fight for Survival.
