Hi,
I am writing to reiterate my support and excitement for the new Clockworks Restaurant to be built next to the Guild Theatre. While Santa Cruz Avenue cant seem to escape a plethora of rug stores, El Caminos revitalization has given so many of us hope for a more vibrant downtown. One where we WANT to hang out, browse books, stores, get coffee, see live music, and eat!
We heard the project was flagged for council meeting discussion at the final hour, despite a unanimous vote in favor of the project by the planning commission on 4/10.
I sincerely hope this discussion is only happening as part of an effort to help this great addition to El Camino succeed. Clockworks is wanted and awaited by many Menlo Park residents.
