Dear Esteemed City Council and Planning Commission members-
I am a current resident of Woodside with children in the Los Lomitas district and at Menlo-Atherton High School. Our whole family has enjoyed the addition of the Guild to the Menlo Park arts, culture and social scene. It has added a sense of community and vibrancy to the downtown area. We have never had an issue with parking, even at the sold-out shows. However, we have often mused that it would be wonderful to have somewhere close by to grab a bite to eat before a show.
The Clockworks Restaurant project would give residents another social hub, and would give Guild event attendees an easy convenient place to congregate before and after shows. I wholeheartedly support the project.
