Dear Council,
I am writing in support of the project to plant the trees near the Hwy 101/Willow interchange, which will be a first step towards reducing the noise problem for residents living there. The walls and trees that had served as sound barriers for residents were removed for construction and never replaced.
Excessive and constant noise is proven to have deeply negative impacts on quality of life and health. This first project for trees is already funded and easy to implement. No reason to hold up the issue.
