As a 28-year resident of Menlo Park I am disturbed to find that all of the efforts to improve the downtown have fallen by the wayside and all the focus is about building, building and building housing that does not fit within our great city. While we all need affordable housing - which needs to really be defined - just adding density for the sake of numbers will ruin our city. You all need to focus on creating a great and vibrant downtown - why do you continue to let many stores remain empty - charge landlords or create housing there. DO NOT OVER BUILD IN OUR CITY.
