I hope that the city is getting some concessions given the huge impact that SUs expansion will have on Menlo Park, particularly in the Western part. (Although the original contract requires MP to maintain the path, one item could be renovation of the poorly design "Larry Horton" path connecting Sand Hill Road to Alpine Road. It is not ADA compliant (because of the slope and the bends) and is dangerous - even when repaired and was not designed properly. SU expanded and fenced off the golf course at the corner of JSB and Alpine so that the path could not be made ADA compliant. Another could be synchronization of the traffic signals at Alpine/JSB and at Sand Hill.
