My name is Alicia and I have lived in Menlo Park for 23 years.
For the past two-plus years, we have been asking the City of Menlo Park to increase the number of pickleball courts at Nealon Park where we consistently have a large groups playing.
I honestly don’t understand why this is so hard to do.
Look at the City of Palo Alto, Mountain View, the City of Los Altos and Sunnyvale, and Foster City, as well as Redwood City.
I could go on and on, including San Jose, the East Bay and San Francisco. Do you see how accommodating these cities are to their residents?
Why is the Menlo Park staff not doing their jobs?
We have over 500 members in Menlo Park, and we are frankly completely tired of having periodic meeting after meeting with the City of Menlo Park
to discuss the same thing over and over and the staff doing nothing.
Please just tape the tennis courts.
