Dear Menlo Park City Council,
I’m writing to urge you to open Santa Cruz Avenue to traffic at the 600 block. It’s important that there be two-way traffic as the congestion on both Oak Grove and Menlo has become much worse due to the closure. It also is difficult for visitors from outside the area to navigate the street closure and our downtown businesses have suffered as a result.
Therefore, either Option 2, (a smaller community space with an open traffic lane) or Option 3, (open vehicle lane with restored street parking) would represent a great improvement over our current state of affairs.
